About Me

About Me

Welcome.

I am an integrative and trauma-informed psychotherapist, and I welcome adult individuals and couples into a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space. I work with a broad range of issues including,  but not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship changes, eating disorders, sexual health, workplace bullying, and traumatic brain injury. I have a particular interest in supporting clients both before and after major surgery, especially where it involves life-changing or life-saving procedures.

I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy (Level 7) from Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute and Staffordshire University. I am trained in EMDR through EMDR UK,  an EMDR Europe-accredited training provider of this evidence-based trauma therapy. I also hold an Advanced Diploma in Parks Inner Child Therapy (PICT), studied under its founder, Penny Parks. Additionally, I completed couple’s therapy training at Sherwood and have completed training supporting neurodivergent clients.

My professional experience spans a range of settings, including secondary education, specialist trauma charities, and mental health charities. I have extensively supported children, teenagers, and adults following disclosures of child sexual abuse. In addition, I meet with clients referred to me by bereavement organisations, particularly those impacted by murder, homicide, and manslaughter. I also meet with emergency services personnel and am an accredited psychotherapist with the Police Firearms Officers Association.

Whatever you’re facing, I aim to offer a compassionate space to support your healing, where my aim is to offer a calm, supportive environment where you feel genuinely heard and understood.
